Kinni Cloud overview

Kinni Cloud keeps supported Kinni data connected with your account so sessions, workouts, and goals can move between signed-in devices.

Kinni Cloud is the account-backed sync layer for supported Kinni data. It helps keep your Kinni sessions, workouts, and goals connected with your account rather than only living on one device.

Use Kinni Cloud when you want supported Kinni data to stay available across signed-in devices or after reinstalling the app. It is part of Kinni’s own account data flow.

Kinni Cloud can support data such as:

  • completed sessions
  • saved workouts
  • goals
  • sync status and queued sync work

Open Profile → Sync your data to control Kinni Cloud sync.

  • Auto Sync lets Kinni keep supported items moving in the background when sync is enabled, you are signed in, and your device has a usable connection.
  • Sync All runs a full manual sync now. Use it when Auto Sync is off, when you want to force an update, or when an item looks stuck.

Kinni can show item-level sync states such as queued, syncing, sync complete, delete pending, or sync failed. If an item has an error, Kinni may retry later, but Sync All is the best first step when you want to resolve it immediately.

If the same item keeps failing, note the item type, name or date, and the error shown before contacting support.

Kinni Cloud is not the same thing as uploading a completed session to Strava, TrainingPeaks, Apple Health, or Health Connect. Those are destination-specific upload or health-platform flows.

It is also not the same as exporting a FIT file. A FIT export creates a file you can share manually outside Kinni.
