App analytics and diagnostics
Use this reference when you want to review analytics tracking, opt out, or understand diagnostic information shown in Settings.
Kinni includes Settings screens that explain app analytics and diagnostic data. These screens are there to make support and product decisions clearer, not to change your training data.
App analytics
Section titled “App analytics”Open Settings → Stats for nerds → App analytics to review the event types Kinni can track and the tracking preference for this device.
You can choose:
- Opt out of tracking to stop analytics tracking on this device.
- Opt in to tracking to allow analytics tracking on this device.
The preference is per device, not per user account. On iPhone and iPad, opting in may also show Apple’s system tracking prompt. Kinni still works if you decline the system prompt.
Device information
Section titled “Device information”Open Settings → Stats for nerds → Device information when support needs details about your phone or tablet. The screen shows device and operating-system values such as manufacturer, model, OS, OS version, and memory. Items marked with an asterisk are the details Kinni may send to Sentry for debugging.
Database statistics
Section titled “Database statistics”Open Settings → Stats for nerds → Database statistics when support asks about local app data. This screen summarises local database size and record counts so support can spot unusual local-data states.
Do not use database statistics as a normal training-progress dashboard. For completed runs, use Sessions and data instead.
What to include when contacting support
Section titled “What to include when contacting support”Include the issue, phone platform, Kinni app version, affected screen, and whether the problem is about a device connection, a session, sync, analytics, or local data. If support asks for a screenshot, avoid posting private account or billing details publicly.
