Joining beta
Use this guide when you want to join, manage, or troubleshoot Kinni beta access from the mobile app.
Kinni beta testing lets eligible users try early builds and stay close to the Kinni community. Final beta membership is controlled by TestFlight on iPhone or Google Play on Android.
Where to find beta testing
Section titled “Where to find beta testing”- Open Kinni.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Manage your account.
- Choose Beta testing.
Kinni may ask you to sign in, reconnect to the Internet, or check your subscription eligibility before it opens the beta path.
Join or manage beta
Section titled “Join or manage beta”- If you are not on a beta build, use Join beta to open TestFlight or Google Play.
- If you are already using a beta build, use Open TestFlight or Open Google Play to manage or leave beta there.
- If Kinni says Beta is not ready yet, use Join Kinni Discord for beta updates instead of forcing an old or unavailable beta path.
Android beta note
Section titled “Android beta note”If you joined an older Google Play internal beta, leave internal testing in Google Play first, then join the current public beta path. This helps you keep receiving the latest beta builds.
When asking for beta help
Section titled “When asking for beta help”Include your phone platform, whether you installed from the store or beta channel, and the values shown at the bottom of Settings such as Build, Release, Target, or Channel when visible.
