how to
Create a workout
Create a workout once, run it whenever you need it, and share it to the Workout Library when it is ready for other runners.
Create a standard workout when you want a reusable session with exact targets. It is ideal for favourite interval sets, treadmill workouts you repeat often, or a session you want to polish before sharing to the Workout Library.
A standard workout uses fixed values. The speed, incline, distance, duration, or elevation targets you set for each split stay the same each time you run it. They do not automatically adapt to your current goal, race target, or training pace.
Want the workout to adapt to your goals? Use dynamic workouts with goals when you want Kinni to adjust targets from your current goal or target speed.
- Open Workouts → My workouts.
- Tap plus and choose Create a workout.
- Add a short title and useful description.
- Add blocks for the main parts of the session, such as warm-up, work, recovery, and cool-down.
- Add splits inside each block.
- Set fixed targets such as speed, incline, distance, duration, or elevation.
- Add voice prompts only where they help during the run.
- Save the workout, then open it from My workouts before running it.
Keep it simple
Section titled “Keep it simple”Short titles, clear block names, and useful descriptions make workouts easier to scan during setup and afterwards.
After you create it
Section titled “After you create it”- Run the workout yourself from My workouts.
- Edit it later if the structure needs refining.
- Share it to the Workout Library when it is ready for other Kinni users.
