Manage incline range
Use this guide when you need to set or reset the minimum and maximum treadmill incline range in Kinni.
Manage incline range lets you set the minimum and maximum treadmill incline range Kinni should use. It is a current treadmill feature, separate from the Inclinometer measurement tool.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Open Settings → Treadmill incline → Manage incline range.
Kinni shows your active range, then lets you adjust the minimum and maximum incline with a slider. The screen also shows the selected values as percentages and degrees.
How to set the range
Section titled “How to set the range”- Stop the treadmill and make sure you are off the belt.
- Open Manage incline range.
- Adjust the minimum and maximum incline values.
- Tap Set incline range.
- Use Reset if you want to return to the default range.
FitShow two-step incline setting
Section titled “FitShow two-step incline setting”Some FitShow-style treadmills use two device steps for one displayed incline percentage. Kinni keeps a compatibility setting for this path so supported treadmills can map incline more accurately.
