Kinni web vs app
Use this reference when you are not sure whether to open the Kinni app or the web account portal for an account task.
Kinni has two account surfaces. The mobile app is where you run, manage profile-facing settings, and use account-backed training features. The Kinni Account website is the browser portal for administrative tasks such as invoices, password reset, email-change confirmation, subscription cancellation, and account deletion.
Use the Kinni app for
Section titled “Use the Kinni app for”- creating a new account and signing in for normal app use;
- claiming or changing your username;
- starting the email-address change request;
- checking Profile → Subscription;
- managing connected apps and devices;
- Kinni Cloud sync entry points, Auto Sync, and app data flows;
- beta access, support, and app settings.
Use the web account portal for
Section titled “Use the web account portal for”- signing in from a browser when a subscription, invoice, or account link asks you to;
- reviewing subscription billing details and cancellation state;
- opening hosted invoices or receipts;
- completing password reset links;
- completing email-address change links from email;
- deleting your Kinni account.
Why the web portal may look smaller than the app
Section titled “Why the web portal may look smaller than the app”The web portal is not a replacement for the mobile app. It exists for account administration and billing tasks that need browser-based flows, hosted invoice pages, email-token links, or safer confirmation screens. Run history, workout creation, connected devices, and training flows remain in the app.
If a task opens the wrong surface
Section titled “If a task opens the wrong surface”Check that you used the same account email in both places. If the web portal returns you to sign-in first, keep the same tab open so it can redirect back to the requested page after sign-in. If the app is asking you to finish a web link from email, use the newest email link and complete the form in your browser.
