Reconnect to your last treadmill
Use this guide when Kinni is reconnecting to your last treadmill, you need to switch machines, or the app says to check your treadmill.
When you open the run setup screen, Kinni can try to reconnect to your last treadmill automatically. This helps you return to the same machine without scanning every time.
When auto-reconnect runs
Section titled “When auto-reconnect runs”Kinni may show Reconnecting to your last treadmill… when you return to Go Run and no treadmill or foot pod is currently connected.
Wait briefly while Kinni checks whether the previous treadmill is available. The Go button may stay unavailable while reconnect is in progress because Kinni is still deciding which device source will provide run data.
Switch to a different treadmill
Section titled “Switch to a different treadmill”If you want to use a different treadmill, tap the Treadmill card to open Scan & connect, then scan for the treadmill you want to use now. If a treadmill is already connected, disconnect it first.
Disconnect a connected treadmill
Section titled “Disconnect a connected treadmill”If the treadmill card shows a connected treadmill, use the close icon on the card to disconnect it. Disconnect before switching to another treadmill or before troubleshooting another device connection.
If Kinni says “Please check your treadmill”
Section titled “If Kinni says “Please check your treadmill””This usually means the treadmill is not ready for use. Check that:
- the treadmill is awake and powered on
- the safety key is fitted
- the treadmill is not in an error, sleep, or locked state
- no other phone, tablet, watch, or app is already connected
- the belt is safely stopped before you continue troubleshooting
