Account and subscription overview
Use this overview to choose the right account or subscription article before you change sign-in details, update your profile, manage billing, or delete your account.
Your Kinni account connects the mobile app, account-backed profile settings, Kinni Cloud data, linked services, and subscription access. The mobile app is the main place to run with Kinni; the Kinni Account website is the web portal for administration tasks such as invoices, password reset, and account deletion.
What this topic covers
Section titled “What this topic covers”Use these articles when you need to:
- create or sign in to a Kinni account in the mobile app;
- understand when to use the Kinni app and when to use the web account portal;
- update your profile username or request an email-address change;
- change or reset your password;
- review, start, cancel, or check a subscription;
- find invoices and receipts;
- apply a promo code during subscription checkout;
- delete your Kinni account.
App account tasks
Section titled “App account tasks”The Kinni app handles the account journey you use while running: creating an account, signing in, claiming or changing your username, checking your profile, opening connected apps and devices, and opening the in-app subscription screen.
Your profile also links to account-backed flows that need the web portal. For example, changing your email address starts in the app, sends a confirmation email, signs you out, and then uses the web account page from that email to finish the change.
Web account portal tasks
Section titled “Web account portal tasks”Use the Kinni Account website for administrative tasks that are easier or safer in a browser:
- viewing subscription details, renewal/end dates, discounts, and saved card summary;
- opening hosted invoices or receipts;
- completing password reset and email-change links from email;
- deleting your account.
If a web page asks you to sign in, use the same email address and password you use in the Kinni app.
Subscription access
Section titled “Subscription access”The app and web portal both show subscription context. In the app, Profile → Subscription shows current subscription status, premium feature information, plan options, invoices link, and any active discount or card summary. The web portal provides the billing-management surfaces, invoices, and cancellation flow.
When to use another topic
Section titled “When to use another topic”Account linking to Strava or TrainingPeaks belongs in Connected apps. Uploading a completed session to Strava or TrainingPeaks belongs in Sessions and data. Kinni Cloud sync and Auto Sync behaviour also belong in Sessions and data, even though those flows use your signed-in account.
