Use this guide when you want to permanently delete your Kinni account and need to understand the main steps first.
Use this guide when you want to permanently delete your Kinni account. Account deletion is a high-impact action and cannot be undone.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Sign in to the Kinni Account web portal with the account you want to delete.
- Check whether the account has an active subscription.
- Make sure you do not still need account-backed data or subscription access.
- Remember that deleting your account does not delete data that is stored only on your devices.
- Open the account website and sign in.
- Open the Delete your account section.
- Read the personal-information and subscription notices.
- Type the required confirmation phrase:
delete my account. - Select Submit.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”When deletion succeeds, Kinni removes your personal information from its servers, ends access to features that require a user account or subscription, signs you out, and sends a confirmation email. If you have an active subscription, the deletion flow also cancels it immediately.
Kinni may still need to retain some payment-related information for financial reporting obligations, and Stripe continues to manage payment records under its own compliance requirements.
If you are not sure
Section titled “If you are not sure”If you only want to stop renewal, cancel the subscription instead of deleting the whole account. If you only want to change billing details, use the subscription-management flow.
