Change or reset your account password
Use this guide when you want to update your password or recover access to your Kinni account.
Use this guide when you want to reset your password because you cannot sign in, or set a new password from a reset link.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Use the email address linked to your Kinni account.
- If you receive a reset email, open the link from the same device or browser where you want to set the new password.
- Choose a strong password; the web reset form checks password strength and asks you to confirm the password.
- Start the password reset flow from the Kinni sign-in or account flow.
- Enter the email address linked to your account.
- Open the reset email when it arrives.
- Follow the link to Set a new password.
- Enter the new password and confirm it.
- Submit the form and wait for the success message.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”After the password is reset, use the new password the next time you sign in to Kinni or the Kinni Account web portal. The account site shows Your password has been reset after a successful reset.
If the reset link does not work
Section titled “If the reset link does not work”- Make sure you opened the most recent reset email.
- Request another reset email if the link has expired or was already used.
- Check that the new password and confirmation match.
- If you are already signed in and only need account changes, use the account settings flow instead of creating another account.
